Sodi Scientifica has been operating for many years on the market with its line of plunger and diaphragm metering pumps. It has now expanded its own product line by introducing a new electronic control system PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This new controller can be coupled to the following models of metering pumps: PD64, PD71, PDH71 and PD80.

Functionality

Flow adjustment is carried out by interrupting the operation of the motor in controlled timing so that the metering pump output can be changed accordingly.

Performance and construction features

The instrument, in its standard version, allows three different types of regulation:

Manual Automatic Analog Automatic Pulse
By setting a percentage between 0% and 100%, in steps of 1% through a dedicated button. Selection of the standard signal (0-10 V; 0-20 mA; 4-20 mA) is made on the electronic board through DIP switches. Selection of the pulse mode (standard 1 imp = 1 pumped) is made on the electronic board through. A divider can also be entered acting on the PLC software configuration DIP switches.

Accessories on demand

A pump, equipped with PWM control, can be combined with a flow sensor able to manage an alarm in the event of pump malfunction.
